Sustainability

Doing right by the environment is an increasingly important part of our design practice. When we create our products, we strive for the best holistic harmony between culture and nature, as we believe that it is the right thing to do

Reclaimed Teak Wood

Every piece of wood we use has a story to tell. Our reclaimed teak wood is sourced from century-old houses in local towns, repurposing columns and beams that are over eighty years old and of exceptional quality.

This elaborate process involves receiving wooden slats of various sizes and conditions, often adorned with original nails, hardware, and paint.

Our artisans meticulously hand-sort, sand, and rework each piece, resulting in a unique texture and character that newly cut wood can never replicate. These reclaimed pieces are not only environmentally friendly but also rich in history and craftsmanship.

Natural Polish

We are committed to selecting finishes that are both healthy and environmentally safe. That's why we exclusively use natural raw oils made from renewable and organic resources for our wood finishes. These oils are not only durable but also free from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), which are harmful to the environment and human health. By avoiding conventional polishing alternatives, we ensure that our products contribute to a cleaner, healthier world.

Handwoven Cane

Our cane is sustainably harvested from natural forests in the Northeast and South of India. Known for its high durability and quality, the cane is meticulously handwoven by our skilled artisans using traditional techniques. It is then treated with a heat torch to enhance its durability. The result is a beautifully crafted, long-lasting material that reflects our dedication to sustainable and artisanal practices.
